听到约翰说的这话，杰瑞迈的脸上露出难以置信的表情，他猛地从椅子上站了起来。

    听到馆长说的话，约翰的眼珠一转，然后赶忙连忙建议：“curator, it might as well be like this! we invite them to dinner in the evening, and you will see for yourself.”

    杰瑞迈思索片刻，点了点头：“well, you're right. then you mand to go down, and we will invite the chinese envoy to dinner tonight.”

    译文:「嗯，你说的不错。那你吩咐下去，今晚我们邀请华国使者吃饭。」

    「记住，不要惊动其他国家的使者。」

    约翰也明白馆长的顾虑，他恭敬地点头，拍着胸口保证:“curator, you can rest assured! i have a sense of propriety. do you want to report it to your superiors?”

    译文:「馆长，您就放心吧！我有分寸的。那您要不要给上级领导反映？」
